By Belize Live News Staff: The Office of the Prime Minister has released the official list of Cabinet adjustments announced by Prime Minister John Briceño on Tuesday.
Michel Chebat will serve as Minister of National Security, Energy and Ports. The new National Security ministry replaces what was formerly Home Affairs and brings the Belize Police Department and Belize Defence Force under one portfolio.
Ramon Cervantes has been named Minister of Public Utilities, Logistics and Solid Waste Management. Ramiro Ramirez continues as Minister of State.
Dr. Osmond Martinez has been appointed Minister of Economic Transformation, moving up from his previous role as a Minister of State.
Henry Charles Usher will now hold the substantive post of Minister responsible for Enterprise.
The adjustments were finalized after an extended Cabinet meeting in Belmopan.
