By Belize Live News Staff: Dr. Osmond Martinez has earned a promotion.
The Toledo East Area Representative, who previously served as a Minister of State, has been elevated to full minister and placed in charge of the Ministry of Economic Transformation.
The move was confirmed following a marathon Cabinet session in Belmopan.
Martinez’s promotion strengthens Toledo’s representation at the Cabinet table. It comes as the south grapples with economic concerns, including Tropic Air’s decision to close its Punta Gorda station on November 1.
