Argument over money ends with gun threat in Orange Walk Town

By Belize Live News Staff: A dispute over money on Audinett Alley in Orange Walk Town allegedly ended with a shotgun being pointed at a man on Sunday night.

The 35 year old complainant told police he was visiting his cousin, who was intoxicated, when another man showed up and argued with the cousin over money.

That man left but returned minutes later in a green vehicle, accompanied by a grey taxi. A man in the taxi allegedly pulled what appeared to be a shotgun, aimed it at the complainant and delivered a warning meant for his cousin, before driving away.

Police checked the homes of the two men named in the report, but neither was there. Efforts to locate the taxi were also unsuccessful.

Investigations continue, and police are still searching for the men.
