By Belize Live News Staff: The United States is making a major play in the artificial intelligence race.
President Donald Trump has announced the creation of the Super Intelligence Force, or SIF. The move follows what he called the Historic White House Accord on Super Intelligence, where leading technology companies affirmed their responsibilities to the American people.
The SIF will coordinate the federal government’s efforts to keep America at the front of the global race in super intelligence, which Trump said many believe is bigger than the Industrial Revolution and the internet.
The force will work with consumers, public interest groups, religious organizations, critical infrastructure providers and AI companies.
It will be led by a team of senior officials named in the post, including Jay Clayton, Federal Trade Commission Chairman Andrew Ferguson, Emil Michael and Scott Kupor.
The SIF will report directly to the President and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.
