By Belize Live News Staff: It was a messy scene on the Santander road this afternoon after a Vega’s truck overturned.
The truck came to rest on its side, with the cab tipped over and the cargo box torn open. Goods including toilet paper and boxed products were strewn across the grass and along the edge of the road.
A traffic cone was placed near the scene as people worked around the wreck.
Details on the cause of the crash and the condition of the driver have not yet been released.
Motorists travelling along the Santander road are asked to use caution in the area.
