By Belize Live News Staff: Saturday will bring a mixture of sunshine, clouds, showers and thunderstorms across Belize, with inland temperatures climbing to around 94 degrees Fahrenheit.
According to the National Meteorological Service, somewhat moist and relatively unstable conditions prevail over the country.
A few showers and thunderstorms are expected around Belize this morning before activity becomes concentrated mainly over inland areas during the afternoon.
Conditions should begin improving by evening, when showers and thunderstorms are expected to become isolated.
Southern Belize could see another increase in rainfall activity late tonight.
Along the coast, temperatures will reach around 89 degrees Fahrenheit, while the hills will see highs near 81 degrees.
Sunday is looking better for most of the country, with mainly fair weather and only isolated showers or thunderstorms. The south could again experience a few additional showers.
In the Atlantic, Tropical Depression Fay has weakened while Tropical Storm Gonzalo remains active. Neither poses a threat to Belize, according to forecasters.
