By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans can expect plenty of sunshine and hot temperatures today as relatively dry conditions continue across the country.
According to the National Meteorological Service, Tuesday will be mostly sunny, while tonight will become partly cloudy.
Rainfall activity will be limited, with only isolated showers or thunderstorms expected across most areas. However, residents of the Toledo District could see a few additional showers or thunderstorms developing late tonight.
The hottest conditions are expected inland, where temperatures could climb to 96 degrees Fahrenheit, with overnight lows around 74 degrees.
Along the coast, temperatures will reach approximately 90 degrees before falling to 82 degrees tonight. The hills will be cooler, with a high of 84 degrees and a low of 68 degrees.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, southern Belize could experience a few showers or thunderstorms during the morning and again Wednesday night, while rainfall elsewhere should remain isolated.
There is also good news in the tropics, with forecasters indicating that tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the region during the next 48 hours.
