By Belize Live News Staff: Two armed men are being sought by police following a daylight robbery at a business in San Roman Village, Stann Creek District.
The incident happened at around 11:15 a.m. on Thursday at the San Roman Shopping Mall.
According to the store owner, two masked men carrying what appeared to be pistols entered the business and held him at gunpoint.
The suspects reportedly went directly to the cash register and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
They also took a black iPhone 16 Pro Max valued at $2,500 before escaping in a white Nissan SUV.
Police arrived shortly after receiving the report.
Surveillance footage was reviewed as investigators began gathering evidence surrounding the robbery.
Despite the armed confrontation, no injuries were reported.
Police investigations remain ongoing.
