By Belize Live News Staff: Former rivals 50 Cent and Shyne Barrow appear to have put their long running feud behind them after reconnecting in New York City.
According to Complex, the two crossed paths at Serafina restaurant, where photographer Johnny Nunes helped reintroduce them while they were attending separate dinners.
Following the encounter, 50 Cent publicly praised Shyne, calling him a “world leader” who has “shown nothing but growth.”
The reunion marked a striking turn in a relationship that dates back more than two decades, when both men traded lyrical shots during the early 2000s.
Shyne later explained that he has made a conscious effort to move beyond old rivalries as part of what he described as his role as an elder statesman in hip hop.
He said he has extended olive branches to people with whom he had previous issues and described the meeting with 50 Cent as a positive moment showing how far both men have come.
