Two women, one man, and a police report

Two women, one man, and a police report

By Belize Live News Staff: A domestic drama two years in the making spilled over in San Jose Village on Sunday, ending with one woman scratched, another sought by police, and a marriage squarely in the middle of it all.

The Belize Police Department reports that a 35-year-old woman of the village visited the Trial Farm Police Sub Station to report a confrontation at her home. She stated that at about 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2026, another woman showed up at her house and began hurling insults.

According to the complainant, the bad blood traces back two years, to when the other woman became involved with her husband. Since then, she told police, the woman has looked to fight and stir trouble every time they meet in the street.

This time, words gave way to a physical struggle, and the complainant came away with a scratch on her chest.

Police took her statement and say the other woman is to be located and spoken to. As things stand, nobody has been arrested and no charges have been filed.

Given that the matter is still being looked into and no charges exist, the identities of those involved are not being published.
