By Belize Live News Staff: Get ready for plenty of sunshine, as Belize is set to enjoy a warm and largely dry day under generally fair skies.
The National Meteorological Service reports that sunny conditions will lead the way today, with just a few cloudy spells, before skies turn partly cloudy to clear overnight. Any showers or thunderstorms will be isolated, with only a low chance of a few more over the extreme south at night and into the early morning.
It will be a hot one, particularly inland, where temperatures are expected to peak at 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 Celsius) before dipping to 74 (23 Celsius). Along the coast, highs will reach 89 degrees Fahrenheit (32 Celsius) with a low of 82 (28 Celsius), while the hills stay more comfortable, topping out at 82 degrees Fahrenheit (28 Celsius) and falling to 68 (20 Celsius).
Out on the water, easterly winds will blow at 10 to 15 knots, with light chop and waves of 2 to 4 feet.
There is reassuring news on the tropical side, with no tropical cyclone formation expected anywhere in the region over the next 48 hours.
The outlook for Friday and Friday night calls for more of the same, with similar fair and warm weather conditions expected to continue.
