By Belize Live News Staff: Belize’s stretch of pleasant weather is expected to continue through the start of the new week, according to the latest forecast issued by meteorologist Derrick Rudon.
Warm and relatively dry conditions remain firmly in place across the country, bringing another day of sunshine and limited rainfall activity.
Today’s forecast calls for sunny conditions with occasional cloudy spells, followed by partly cloudy skies tonight. Only isolated showers or thunderstorms are expected, with a slightly greater chance of rainfall in southern districts later tonight.
Temperatures will remain above average for many parts of the country. Inland communities will experience highs near 95 degrees Fahrenheit, while coastal residents can expect temperatures around 89 degrees. The hills will remain the coolest region with highs around 82 degrees.
Looking ahead, forecasters say Monday and Monday night will bring similar weather conditions, with generally fair skies and isolated showers. Southern districts could once again see a few more showers Monday night.
Meanwhile, the tropical Atlantic remains quiet, with no tropical cyclone development expected in the region over the next two days.
For now, Belizeans can continue enjoying a calm start to the hurricane season with sunshine, warm temperatures and limited rainfall across most of the country.
