By Belize Live News Staff: A post-mortem examination has officially confirmed that 21-year-old Zuriel Ernesto Cruz, a resident of San Estevan Village, died from injuries sustained during a road traffic accident.
The procedure was conducted on Wednesday morning at the Northern Regional Hospital Morgue. A relative of the deceased was present to formally identify the body, accompanied by a Scenes of Crime Officer and other officials.
The medical examiner concluded that the cause of death was multiple blunt force traumatic injuries, noting that the trauma was consistent with a severe vehicular accident. While the cause of death is now clear, authorities have yet to release specific details regarding the location or the circumstances that led to the crash. The investigation remains active.
