By Belize Live News Staff: Police are investigating a deadly shooting that left two men dead and a woman injured on East Collet Canal in Belize City.
Officials say Clinton Pow was the apparent target of the attack. He was fatally shot during the incident.
The alleged gunman, identified as Ryan Barnett, was reportedly shot by a police officer who pursued him after the shooting. Barnett later died from his injuries.
Reports indicate that the shooting occurred at a food stand where Pow and his sister were present.
More than two dozen shots were reportedly fired from an automatic rifle during the attack.
Pow’s sister was also injured but has since undergone surgery and is said to be in stable condition.
Police investigations into the incident continue.
