By Belize Live News Staff: Reports of possible looting have surfaced after a crashed truck near the Boom Road garbage site was allegedly targeted overnight.
A security officer working in the area reported that police had visited the accident scene the previous afternoon and arrangements were made for the vehicle to be towed the following morning.
But by the time morning arrived, several individuals were reportedly seen around the truck removing items from it.
The incident has raised concern as the vehicle had not yet been removed from the location.
Authorities are being asked to look into the matter.
