By Belize Live News Staff: A cool, windy and mostly dry northerly airflow continues to dominate Belize, according to the 6:00 a.m. forecast issued February 24, 2026.
Today will be cloudy with sunny breaks, while tonight is expected to be partly cloudy. Little to no rainfall is anticipated, except for the possibility of light showers developing over southern offshore areas.
Marine conditions remain rough, with north to northwest winds between 10 to 20 knots and gusty at times. Waves are expected to range from 5 to 7 feet.
A Small Craft Caution remains in effect due to gusty winds and rough seas, particularly in northerly swells. Small craft operators are advised to exercise caution.
Temperatures will remain on the cooler side, with coastal highs around 78°F and inland areas reaching 79°F. The hills will feel cooler, with highs near 67°F.
