Kings Park home stripped while owner abroad

Woman reports burglary in San Felipe

By Belize Live News Staff: A burglary at an unoccupied home in Kings Park, Belize City, has led to the detention of a suspect after a neighbor reported suspicious activity.

Police say the incident came to light after a neighbor observed two men removing parts of a house on Fifth Street while the owner was out of the country. The property manager later confirmed that several items were stolen from the residence.

Among the items reported missing are eight metal windows, three wooden doors, and bathroom fixtures, including a toilet and sink. The value of the stolen items has not yet been determined.

Following a report made through 911, police responded and later detained a man in connection with the burglary. Statements were recorded, and the matter remains under investigation by the Northside CIB.
