Western Region tops crime reduction rankings at COMPSTAT meeting

By Belize Live News Staff: The Western Region emerged as the top-performing division for crime reduction in 2025, as recognized during the Belize Police Department’s National COMPSTAT Meeting.

Commissioner of Police Dr. Richard Rosado commended the Western Region, led by ACP Suzette Anderson, for achieving the strongest results nationwide. The Northern Region, under Senior Superintendent Alejandro Cowo, placed second.

CEO Rear Admiral Bennett used the forum to stress the importance of accountability in resource management and procurement, while also acknowledging the department’s strong investigative capacity and the success of its strategic surveillance operations.

Minister of Home Affairs Oscar Mira praised officers for their dedication, noting that strong leadership, innovation, and collaboration remain key to national security efforts.

Commissioner Rosado congratulated all regions for their contributions, thanking officers across the country for their commitment and hard work throughout 2025.
