Police are investigating a burglary reported at a residence on Mosul Street in Belize City.

Woman reports burglary in San Felipe

By  Belize Live News Staff: According to police reports, at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026, information was received from the Police Control Room regarding a burglary at #13 Mosul Street. As a result, personnel from P1 Crimes Investigation Branch proceeded to the location.

Upon arrival, police spoke with a 38-year-old Belizean male occupant of the residence, who reported that between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. on Monday, someone unlawfully entered his home while he was away.

The house is described as a yellow and brown bungalow board structure measuring approximately 10 by 20 feet. Entry was reportedly gained through the northern side of the house, where two lengths of siding boards were removed.

At this time, it is uncertain whether any items were stolen, as the occupant is in the process of moving into the residence.

The scene was processed by Scenes of Crime personnel, and the surrounding area was canvassed where useful information was obtained. A formal statement has not yet been recorded as investigations continue.
