Police uncover nearly 2kg of suspected cannabis in Palmar Village septic system

By Belize Live News Staff: Police recovered approximately 1,920 grams of suspected cannabis during an early morning search on an abandoned property along Church Street in Palmar Village, Orange Walk District.

The substance was concealed inside a septic system and packaged in two parcels within a garbage bag. At the station, one parcel weighed 944 grams and the other 976 grams. Both were properly sealed, labeled and entered into the chain of custody as found property.

No arrests have been made. Investigations continue to identify those responsible for the drugs.
