By Belize Live News Staff: A man is recovering after being stabbed during an altercation that occurred yesterday evening in Orange Walk Town.
Police say they were alerted after the victim was transported to the Northern Regional Hospital with a stab wound. Officers responded and gathered information from the injured man, who stated that he was attacked while socializing along Cinderella Street.
According to the victim, the attacker inflicted a stab wound to his chest before running away from the scene. The suspect has not yet been detained.
Medical personnel treated the victim, and police confirmed that the injury is not considered life-threatening. A medico-legal form was issued, and police investigations are ongoing.
