Police update El Establo robbery investigation; armed suspects fled in tinted van without plates

By Belize Live News Staff: Police have issued more information on the armed robbery that occurred at El Establo Restaurant and Bar, a popular stop just as motorists enter Orange Walk Town from San Jose.

The robbery happened shortly after 6:00 pm. Witnesses reported that the suspects were armed and acted quickly before escaping in a tinted gold van with no license plate. Officers say the van contained four men and was last observed entering the Trial Farm Village area.

Police are now conducting targeted searches and monitoring exit routes in an effort to track down the armed group. Police warn that the suspects should be considered dangerous and ask residents to remain vigilant.

Anyone with helpful information is encouraged to contact the nearest police station or Crime Stoppers Belize.
