Orange Walk man charged after investigation links him to stolen tool set

By Belize Live News Staff: A San Felipe Village resident has been formally charged with Handling Stolen Goods after police investigated a report of a missing tool set in Orange Walk.

Police say the report was filed on November 15, 2025, after a resident discovered that a Trooper socket tool set left in the back of a pickup the previous evening had disappeared. The individual made inquiries in the village and was told by an acquaintance known only as Americo that two men—identified only as Leon and Walter—were believed to have the tools.

Police later detained a San Felipe man on November 27 during the investigation. After securing the necessary documentation, officers formally arrested and charged him with Handling Stolen Goods. He is expected to face court as the case proceeds.
