By Belize Live News Staff: Police have recovered property believed to be stolen during the burglary of the San Antonio Rio Hondo Community Center.
Investigators, acting on a search warrant, visited the home of 36-year-old Jose Edwardo Canul of San Antonio Rio Hondo Village. During the search, officers found an orange Easy Two brand weed eater, which was positively identified by the complainant as one of the items reported stolen.
Canul was detained for handling stolen goods and taken to the police station for further questioning. The complainant also accompanied police to provide additional statements, and the recovered weed eater was processed as evidence.
The investigation remains ongoing.
