By Belize Live News Staff: Police have arrested and charged three men following a burglary in Guinea Grass Village, Orange Walk District.
According to reports, on Monday, November 10th, 2025, between 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., a Belizean construction worker of Guinea Grass Village, reported that his two-bedroom silver-colored bungalow zinc house measuring approximately 30 by 20 feet was broken into.
The culprits allegedly gained entry by prying open one of the back window louvers. Stolen from inside were one black Samsung Galaxy A10s cellphone valued at $400, one toy truck valued at $70, six pairs of gold earrings valued at $130 each, and $150 in cash, for a total estimated value of $1,400.
Scenes of Crime personnel visited and processed the area. Following investigations, police recovered the stolen Samsung cellphone.
As a result, Cruzito Alfaro Copo, 22; Genaro Copo, 28; and Ezber Wilber Copo, 23 — all Belizeans of Guinea Grass Village — were formally arrested and charged for the crime of burglary.
Police investigations continue.
