The identification was confirmed by the Belize Police Department with the help of Crime Stoppers Belize and the public’s assistance.
The body, initially listed as John Doe, was pulled from the sea around 5:15 am. Authorities had released images and details to solicit public help in identifying the deceased. Following numerous tips and leads, the identity of Rony Pott was confirmed.
