BZ$928,000 police station to be built in San Narciso Village

By Belize Live News Staff: The Government of Belize has signed a contract valued at BZ$928,509.49 with LV and Sons Construction Limited to build a new police station in San Narciso Village, Corozal District.

The project, part of the Belize Integral Security Programme, is funded by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) and aims to strengthen the capacity of the Belize Police Department in northern Belize.

The new station will feature over 3,000 square feet of workspace and serve around 40,000 residents across thirteen surrounding villages. Construction begins on November 3, 2025, and is expected to be completed within twelve months.

Officials say the investment will help modernize Belize’s security infrastructure and improve law enforcement coverage in rural communities.
