By Belize Live News Staff: Belize is enjoying a stretch of stable weather this week as generally fair conditions dominate the forecast, according to the National Meteorological Service’s morning update for October 16, 2025.
Today’s weather outlook features sunny skies with brief cloudy periods, while tonight will remain partly cloudy. Only isolated showers or thunderstorms are expected, mainly over inland areas and the Maya Mountains during the afternoon hours.
For mariners, conditions remain calm with light west-northwest winds between 0–10 knots, slight seas, and waves between 1 to 3 feet. These conditions make for favorable fishing and boating activities along Belize’s coast.
Temperature highs will hover around 92°F (33°C) inland, 88°F (31°C) on the coast, and 80°F (27°C) in the hills, while nighttime lows will range from 68°F to 76°F (20°C to 24°C).
The tropical weather outlook continues to show no development of tropical systems over the North Atlantic Basin in the next two days, indicating a stable atmosphere for the region.
The outlook for Friday and Friday night remains positive, with continued fair weather and only isolated showers expected.
