By Belize Live News Staff: Police have charged 21-year-old Taishuan Lensford Henry of Camalote Village, Cayo District, in connection with a firearm and ammunition found during an operation.
Authorities said that on Monday, September 15, while carrying out an operation in Camalote, they encountered Henry, who reportedly ran off, leaving behind a 9mm pistol, a magazine, and six live rounds of ammunition.
The firearm and ammunition were secured, sealed, and labelled as exhibits. Following their investigation, police formally arrested and charged Henry on Wednesday, October 1, for Kept Firearm Without a Gun License and Kept Ammunition Without a Gun License.
He is expected to face court proceedings in connection with the charges.
