By Belize Live News Staff: Police are investigating an attempted murder that left a Belize City man hospitalized on Thursday night.
Around 10:32 p.m. on September 11, officers responded to a report at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, where they observed 28-year-old Esau Louima of a Belize City address suffering from gunshot wounds.
Initial investigations revealed that around 10:15 p.m., Louima was standing on his veranda when an unidentified male entered his yard and fired several shots at him, striking him in the process.
Louima remains hospitalized in stable condition. Police investigations are ongoing.
