By Belize Live News Staff: A 23-year-old Belama resident has been arrested and charged with arson in connection with a recent house fire.
Police say they quickly secured a warrant which led to the arrest of Andesha Andean Myers of Belama Phase 5. Myers, born June 10, 2002, was formally charged with arson.
During her arrest, Myers was cautioned about her rights and chose to remain silent.
Officials confirm the investigation is ongoing, and the case is expected to proceed before the courts. The details of the fire and the possible motive have not yet been disclosed.
