By Belize Live News Staff: UDP stalwart Alberto August has launched a blistering attack on party colleague Lee Mark Chang, accusing him of being financially compromised and siding with the ruling PUP.
In a fiery social media post, August claimed Chang has failed to criticize Prime Minister John Briceño or other PUP ministers over the Joseph Budna scandal, while consistently attacking UDP Leader Shyne Barrow and the party’s vice chairman.
“He cannot criticize anyone in the PUP no matter what they do because he has to protect the almost $20,000 rent money he admits receiving every month from the PUP,” August charged.
Labeling Chang as “the cancer in the UDP,” August warned that as long as he continues to collect money from the PUP, he will remain destructive to the opposition’s future.
“The UDP is going nowhere with this 600-votes character… THIS FELLA is BAD for the UDP,” August declared.
