By Belize Live News Staff: The weather story for Thursday, September 11, is showers, showers, and more showers. According to forecaster Crystal Rosalez of the National Meteorological Service, mostly cloudy skies with bursts of rain and thunderstorms will dominate today’s conditions.
After a brief lull this afternoon, Belizeans can expect another round of nighttime showers as unstable weather systems linger over the region.
Coastal residents can expect highs of 85°F and lows around 77°F, while inland highs will reach 87°F with lows near 72°F. In the hills, temperatures will stay cooler, peaking at 83°F.
Seafarers are advised to expect winds shifting from east to northeast with seas in light chop conditions.
For Friday, showers will remain scattered, mainly over the north and central regions in the morning, then focusing over the south by nightfall.
Tides today will bring highs at 6:43 AM and 6:19 PM, with lows at 12:51 PM and again at 12:17 AM tomorrow. Sunrise was at 5:40 AM, with sunset at 5:57 PM.
