By Belize Live News Staff: This afternoon, bail was denied to 21-year-old Christy Guzman, who is charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of Wilson Hernandez.
The bail hearing was held at the Belmopan Supreme Court, where the court ruled that Guzman will remain on remand while the case proceeds. Family members of the deceased were present outside the courtroom as the decision was delivered.
The case will return to court on November 7.
