NGO Network demands transparency in Budna case

By Belize Live News Staff: The Belize Network of NGOs (BNN) has joined bipartisan leaders and members of the press in calling for an independent investigation into the abduction of Joseph Ryan Budna.

According to BNN, the inquiry will play a crucial role in identifying those responsible and ensuring they are held accountable. The group emphasized that the case involves fundamental human rights and the rule of law, which cannot be ignored.

BNN noted that the failure to act would set a dangerous precedent, undermining democracy and justice in Belize. It stated firmly that the defense of human rights must remain consistent, without loopholes or exceptions.
