By Belize Live New Staff: Prime Minister John Briceño has confirmed that he has received the official report on the abduction of Joseph Budna. He stated that he will make his comments on the matter tomorrow.
Budna was abducted in late August in front of the Orange Walk Police Station before being taken across the border and handed over to Guatemalan authorities. He has accused Belizean police officers of carrying out a state-ordered kidnapping, but authorities have strongly denied those claims.
The report is expected to shed light on the events surrounding the controversial abduction.
