By Belize Live News Staff: Police are investigating a frightening home invasion that took place last night in the Surfside subdivision of Seine Bight, where an elderly couple was tied up and robbed at gunpoint.
Reports reaching Belize Live News indicate that the couple, both in their seventies, were ambushed inside their home by armed intruders. The suspects tied up the victims, held them at gunpoint, and proceeded to rob the house before fleeing the scene.
The victims, though deeply shaken, were not physically harmed. Police have launched an investigation into the aggravated burglary and are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in identifying those responsible.
