By Belize Live News Staff: A Belmopan resident is asking for the public’s help after his stolen credit card was used for a shopping spree across the city.
The victim reported that his vehicle was broken into and several items, including his wallet and electronics, were stolen. Soon after, the thief began making purchases with the stolen card, racking up more than $300 in charges.
Video footage shows a man wearing an orange shirt believed to be the suspect. Police are urging anyone who recognizes the individual to contact Belmopan police immediately at 922 or 671-2815.
Authorities continue to investigate as they work to track down the suspect and recover the stolen property.
