By Belize Live News Staff: A light easterly airflow is keeping weather conditions generally fair across the country today, Tuesday, July 22, 2025. The National Meteorological Service reports that Belizeans can expect mostly sunny skies with a few cloudy spells, accompanied by only isolated showers or thunderstorms, mainly affecting southern Belize.
The rest of the country is forecast to remain dry, with warm temperatures and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. With conditions favorable for outdoor activities, residents are reminded to stay hydrated, especially in inland areas where heat levels will soar.
Winds are blowing from the east at 5 to 15 knots, producing light choppy seas and wave heights between 1 and 4 feet. Boaters and coastal visitors can expect relatively calm marine conditions throughout the day.
In terms of temperatures, inland areas will see a high of 95°F (35°C), coastal areas around 89°F (32°C), and higher elevations in the hills will reach 82°F (28°C). Overnight lows will dip to 75°F inland, 82°F along the coast, and 68°F in the hills.
The tropical weather outlook remains quiet, with no signs of tropical cyclone formation expected in the Atlantic over the next 48 hours.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, conditions remain partly cloudy with isolated showers and a few thunderstorms, again primarily over southern Belize during the day and night.
