By Belize Live News Staff: The National Meteorological Service reports that a moderately moist and somewhat unstable easterly airflow is prevailing over Belize. For today, the weather will remain mostly sunny with cloudy intervals and only isolated showers expected. The southern region may experience a few showers and isolated thunderstorms this morning and during the night.
Marine conditions remain stable, with east winds at 10 to 15 knots and seas in a light chop. Wave heights are estimated between 2 and 4 feet.
Temperatures today are forecast to reach highs of 93°F inland, 88°F along the coast, and 80°F in the hills. Minimum temperatures tonight will fall to around 74°F inland, 80°F on the coast, and 68°F in the hills.
Saturday is expected to bring fair weather with isolated showers, but Saturday night could see an increase in rain and thunderstorm activity, particularly in southern and coastal Belize.
There is no threat of tropical cyclone development in the region for the next two days.
