By Belize Live News Staff: Generally fair weather continues to dominate over the country today as an easterly airflow supports stable conditions across the region. According to the National Meteorological Service, Belizeans can expect mostly sunny skies today with a few cloudy intervals. Tonight’s forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and only isolated showers.
Marine conditions remain manageable with winds from the east at 10 to 15 knots and wave heights ranging from 3 to 5 feet in choppy seas. Coastal temperatures will reach a high of 87°F, while inland areas will experience hotter conditions up to 93°F. The hills will remain cooler with highs around 80°F.
Looking ahead, fair weather is expected to persist into Friday with only isolated showers during the day. However, there may be a slight uptick in showers over the southern region on Friday night. No tropical cyclone formation is anticipated in the North Atlantic Basin over the next 48 hours.
