By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans can expect another warm day under partly cloudy skies, with the potential for a few isolated showers—especially in central and northern regions—as relatively moist and unstable conditions linger across the country.
Forecasters are predicting a shift tonight, when a few showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop, mainly over southern and some central areas. The rest of the country will experience only minimal rainfall.
Coastal and marine interests should take note of rougher sea conditions today. Winds will blow east at 10 to 20 knots, and seas will be moderate to rough, with wave heights of 4 to 7 feet. A small craft caution is in effect due to gusty winds and choppy conditions, particularly beyond the barrier reef.
Daytime highs inland will reach up to 92°F, while coastal temperatures will hover around 87°F. The hills will remain cooler at 82°F during the day and dip to 67°F tonight.
No tropical cyclone activity is expected in the Atlantic Basin in the next two days.
The weekend begins with similar conditions on Saturday, as central and southern Belize are forecast to receive scattered showers and thunderstorms, while the rest of the country will experience isolated activity.
