Gospel Fest set for Belize City Civic Center this Saturday

By Belize Live News Staff: After the September Celebrations drew massive crowds to the secular stage, organizers are hoping gospel fans turn out in big numbers this weekend.

The Belize Gospel Fest happens Saturday at the Belize City Civic Center, headlined by Caribbean gospel artists Samuel Medas and Blessed Messenger.

Both artists are already in the country. Several other leading gospel ministers and performers from the region are also arriving for a series of activities leading up to the festival.

Samuel Medas, making his Belize debut, joked that if given more time on stage, he would happily perform even more songs for his Belizean fans.

Blessed Messenger, back for a second visit, says he and his band are ready to deliver.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for high school students. Children get in free.

It promises to be a night of worship, music and celebration. Do not miss it.
