By Belize Live News Staff: A family in Trial Farm Village is anxiously waiting for news after their 16 year old daughter failed to come home on Monday.
The teen, a student at Belize High School of Agriculture, was seen boarding her school bus that morning. By the afternoon, her family realized she had not returned.
Her father reported the matter to the Gender and Domestic Violence Response and Investigation Unit at the Orange Walk Police Station on Tuesday.
His own checks led him to the Sandy Field area, where she was allegedly seen arriving at a residence Monday evening and leaving on a motorcycle about two hours later.
Police have circulated a message across all formations to help locate her.
She is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, slim, with long black hair, dark brown eyes and a tattoo of a signature on her right wrist.
If you have seen her or know where she may be, please contact the Orange Walk Police or call 911.
Note: her name is left out since this is a police report, not a public appeal. If police or the family release an official missing person notice with her name and photo, we can update to include it.
