The Met Service says showers and thunderstorms will be isolated across Belize on Monday, but northern and inland areas could see a few more than the rest of the country. Tonight, the chance of rain moves to the south and some coastal communities.
Skies will be sunny with cloudy intervals during the day and cloudy at times tonight.
Temperatures remain high. Expect 88°F on the coast, 92°F inland and 80°F in the hills.
Marine conditions are choppy, with east to southeast winds of 10 to 15 knots and waves of 3 to 5 feet.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, skies will be cloudy at times, with a few showers over most areas in the morning. The showers should ease in the afternoon. Tuesday night, a few showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely over the south.
Low tide today is at 12:37pm and high tide at 6:52pm. Tomorrow’s high tide is at 6:19am, with low tide at 11:47pm.
The sun rose at 5:43am and sets at 5:38pm. The moon sets at 2:19pm and rises again at 2:00am.
No tropical cyclone formation is expected in the next 48 hours.
