By Belize Live News Staff: A curve on a white marl road in Indian Creek turned deadly when an SUV ran off the road and into a ditch.
Police responding to the scene found a gold Chevy Equinox upright in a ditch on the right side of the road, facing north, with heavy front end damage.
Inside, in the front passenger seat, was the body of a 29 year old domestic of Camp 53, Indian Creek community.
Initial investigations show the 28 year old driver swerved right and lost control around 7:00pm, sending the vehicle into the wall of the ditch.
A 4 year old child was in the back seat at the time. Both the child and the driver were rushed to the Northern Regional Hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating.
