By Belize Live News Staff: Most of Belize can expect a relatively dry Monday before chances for showers and thunderstorms increase on Tuesday.
According to the National Meteorological Service, a gentle and slightly moist east to southeasterly airflow is supporting generally fair conditions today.
Sunny skies with a few cloudy spells are expected, while showers should remain isolated across most of the country.
Inland Belize will be the hottest, with temperatures reaching around 94 degrees Fahrenheit.
Coastal areas can expect highs near 88 degrees, while temperatures in the hills will peak around 82 degrees.
Conditions will become cloudier tonight, with additional showers developing mainly over southern Belize late tonight and early Tuesday morning.
The outlook for Tuesday and Tuesday night calls for cloudy skies at times with a few showers or isolated thunderstorms.
In the Atlantic, Tropical Depression Fay continues to be monitored along with a trough of low pressure east northeast of Bermuda.
Neither poses a threat to Belize.
