Nahjib Guerra found the back of the net in the 52nd minute, and the Jaguars made it count, defeating Sint Maarten 1 to 0 in Concacaf Nations League B action on Saturday.
Wearing the number 7, Guerra delivered the decisive moment as Belize opened its Group F campaign with a hard earned away victory.
The Football Federation of Belize celebrated the result, congratulating the Jaguars on securing their first win of the tournament.
Now the focus shifts to Tuesday night, when Belize takes on Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at 8:00pm. The Jaguars then meet French Guiana on Saturday, October 3.
With Guerra in form, Belize fans have plenty to cheer about.
