By Belize Live News Staff: The search for missing police officer Kenyon Barrow has moved deeper into Orange Walk communities, with officers visiting dozens of homes in an effort to gather useful information.
Police carried out two Meet and Greet operations on Wednesday in Guinea Grass Village and the Black Water Creek area.
According to the Orange Walk Formation, the visits were aimed primarily at collecting information that could assist in locating Barrow.
At the same time, officers used the opportunity to engage residents and strengthen community relations.
Senior officers, Community Policing Unit personnel and Volunteer Special Constables participated in the operation.
A total of 40 homes were visited across the two areas.
Police say residents were receptive and appreciated the direct outreach.
The operation forms part of the ongoing effort to locate Barrow, whose disappearance has prompted concern among colleagues, family members and the wider community.
