By Belize Live News Staff: A 37 year old woman has reported that two men stole her purse while she was walking along Flamingo Street in Trial Farm Village on Monday night.
Police say the woman was walking with her aunt when two men approached from behind, one on foot and another on a bicycle.
According to the report, the man who was walking grabbed the woman’s white sling purse.
The purse allegedly contained personal identification cards, bank cards, a credit card and a Tecno Digi cellphone.
The woman said both men then made good their escape.
One of the suspects was described as a Hispanic man wearing a white cap, white T shirt and black short pants.
The woman later sought help at a nearby shop, where the owner contacted police.
She was taken to the Trial Farm Police Sub Station and made a formal report.
